Nihari traces its roots to the royal kitchens of the Indian subcontinent and has become one of the most beloved dishes of Pakistan. At Chenab we prepare it the traditional way — shank and knuckle beef, a custom blend of Nihari masala with cardamom, cinnamon, fennel and long pepper, and hours of low, patient cooking.

The result is a glossy, mahogany-coloured gravy with tender Halal beef that pulls apart with the spoon. Serve it with our tandoor-baked naan or a steaming basket of kulcha for the full Pakistani experience.
