Indulge in our signature Chenab Goat Karahi — tender, bone-in goat slow-cooked in a deeply aromatic tomato-based gravy with fresh garlic, ginger and in-house ground masala. It is the hallmark of our kitchen and a favourite across Edmonton's Pakistani and South Asian community.
Karahi is named after the wok-like iron pan it is cooked in, and our Goat Karahi follows the classic Lahori-Peshawari tradition. We begin with quality Halal goat, sear it over high heat, then slow-cook it with ripe tomatoes, green chillies, ginger and a blend of whole and hand-ground spices until the meat falls off the bone.
Finished with a generous drizzle of its own rendered fat, fresh coriander and julienne ginger, every serving arrives bubbling in the karahi. It pairs beautifully with our freshly baked tandoor naan and a glass of Mint Margarita.
